JASIST recognized the publication of Dr. Bhaskar Mukherjee

Dear All,

We are very glad to inform you all that JASIST, peer reviewed international journal has accepted and published an research article entitled “Do open-access journals in library and information science have any scholarly impact? A bibliometric study of selected open-access journals using Google Scholar” authored by Dr. Bhaskar Mukherjee, Assistant Professor of the Department. The article can be had from JASIST Volume 60, Issue 3, Pages 581-594. The article was sent on February, 2008 and accepted for publication on October, 2008. The print version of article comes out in March, 2009 whereas online version was available since December 16, 2008. The bibliographical detail of the article is:
